This picture was created using one of Dave Shumway’s pictures of a Rocky Mountain College Piper Archer and a picture of a refueling KC-135 Tanker from Google images. My process in creating this image was to first cut out the Archer from the original photo that Dave had taken, I then, using the clone brush on the photo of the tanker, erased the fighter jet that was originally being refueled. I then resized the image of the Archer and by changing the angle of the plane positioned it so it appears as though it is being refueled. The result of combining these two pictures is a fairly entertaining image of a small piston aircraft being refueled in midair. This is a picture of fantasy and sci-fi it is impossible for these airplanes to refuel in midair.
